Striiv Dad – Matt Cipov

Back in March I was growing very disheartened with how sluggish and beat I was feeling all of the time. I could not keep up with my work life and I certainly was too beat by the end of my work day to enjoy my time spent with my wife and son. But at the end of March, on a family trip, I saw Striiv in the Sky Mall catalog and it instantly sounded appealing. I ordered one for myself while on the trip and pretty much by the time we got home, it was waiting for me. Just over …

Dear Striiv….

Dear Striiv, After a recent illness and surgery I was looking for something to help me get back into shape. The Striiv sounded like something that would help motivate me. I had tried pedometers and other devices before with limited success. Striiv has been different because of the motivation it gives me. It is not just a step calculator; it sends me challenges, gives me encouragement, and is a little personal trainer in my pocket. I don’t know why it has taken control of me, but if I sit down and it asks me to exercise for 3 more minutes…I …

Corey Emmons – Striiver

The following blog was written by Corey Emmons a Striiv customer. ——————— For your reading pleasure… I am a retired veteran who has a full time job, a home business, and a husband who I love spending time with. Needless to say, exercise didn’t always reach the top of my priority list. I am in my 40’s and not what one would refer to as a pinnacle of fitness. I have become a yo-yo exerciser. I get super motivated, go all out until I am so sore that I can’t workout anymore the next day…or the next…or the next…that’s my …

Choccoli

I used to have one of those race car metabolisms that annoy sensible people. I could eat a pepperoni & sausage pizza every day of the week and not gain a pound. I performed this amazing party trick over and over, just to keep in practice. I used to get a lot of exercise as well. I played soccer, ran, and jumped around a lot in my ska punk band. I was thin and fit, and it was easy.

One beta tester’s experience

We have asked several of our beta testers to share some thoughts about their experience with Striiv. Gavin is our first Beta Tester blog to share. Gavin has been using the Striiv for over a month. He was self described as non-active person. ——- I am currently assisting Striiv with their beta testing of their device. I, like so many other people, am considered a non-active person and this device has certainly motivated me to “get moving” and it has certainly impacted on how I look at keeping active. At the end of the day, this device enables me to …

Striiv Vision

Welcome to Striiv! We are so glad you are here. Striiv started with a vision. That fitness should be fun and that it should fit around your schedule. We believe that current definition of fitness is leaving out millions of Americans. We all want to be fit, but for many of us, when we come home after a long day, it’s difficult to find the time and motivation to fit fitness and exercise in our already busy schedules. Striiv is about changing the negative conversations in our head around not working out and letting go of our guilt of not …
