My Band won’t light up +
Fresh out of the box? That’s a bummer. Sometimes our Bands get so excited, sitting on the shelf, waiting to be bought, they run out of all their juice. They will need a long rest in their charging cradle before they can perk up again. Oh and to be clear, the charging cradle needs to be plugged in.
Plugged in but still no lights? Don’t give up yet! Give ‘em a little poke in the cradle reset button with a paperclip (check out this video demo here). Don’t use a thumbtack though! Our Bands don’t respond well to sharp objects.
You might have a bum USB cord- you can check this by plugging the Striiv cord into any other devices you have lying around that use micro USB (think ereaders or certain phones). If your cord doesn’t work then let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org

My Band wont pair +
Remove the Band from the cradle and replace it
Turn your phone/tablet’s airplane mode off and on
Force quit the app and reset the Band with a paperclip (the Band must be plugged in and charging)
Turn your phone off and back on
How do I track my sleep? +
Our Band is pretty smart, but not smart enough to know when you are all tucked in for the night. Double tap your Band to sync with the app, then tap on the sleep mode bar at the top of the screen. See that cute little moon? He is the keeper of time- turn him on to start the clock.
Once you wake up, sync your device again (double tap) and turn the moon off. Did you forget to turn sleep mode off? Well that’s silly. But understandable. That’s why we programmed our Bands to automatically exit sleep mode once you walk more than 200 steps. You’re welcome!
What do all the lights mean? +
There are 7 light bars (6 white, 1 color) and each represents a percentage of your step goal completed. So at the beginning of the day, only one white light bar will light up. Once you have reached your goal, all the lights will light up, as well as the colored light.
When you put your Band into sleep mode, the lights will go through a special animation: All 7 lights will blink 3 times, the color LED is Blue. On the third blink the lights will turn off, progressing from the outside lights in.
If you tap your Band while in sleep mode, only the middle two white lights will pulse.
Once you turn sleep mode off, the Band will go through the same animation but in the reverse order- the two center bars will blink 3 times, then the rest of lights will turn on from the center out.
When you are completely out of sleep mode the color light will change from blue to green.
Which way do I wear the Band? +
The gold dots on the underside of the Band should be on the same side of your wrist as your thumb.
For the most accurate step counting, please wear the Band on your non dominant hand.

How do I see my progress through the day? +
To see your goal progress throughout the day, double tap the Band screen. This will also sync the Band with the Striiv app.

How do I set my goals? +
To change your goals, swipe the home screen left to right to access the Menu. Tap on ‘Goals’. Tap on the number you wish to change. Enter the new value, then press ‘Done’
